Aromatherapy has become very popular and fashionable in recent years, although its history goes back several millennia. We can say that aromatherapy is the direct ancestor of perfumery.
My acquaintance and passion for aromatic oils began back in 2005 when I bought an aroma lamp, which still serves me, and the first sets of aromatic oils.
Now, especially during the coronavirus period, I really want to recharge myself with energy or prevent colds. Or just fill the house with a pleasant scent. I used to add one kind of oil. I have been mixing lately using my knowledge of perfumery. If I feel a cold, then here eucalyptus, cedar, juniper, or fir go into battle. They cleanse the respiratory tract well and fill the body with freshness. In the morning, for vivacity, I add citrus fruits and, on the contrary, lemon balm or lavender in the evening. I use a combination of lemon balm and lavender just for calmness and good sleep. Late, lazy, and twilight in the morning, it is so good to invigorate yourself with the oil of bergamot, orange, grapefruit combined with ylang-ylang! An instant invigorating effect is guaranteed! But the combination of ylang-ylang and jasmine or rose is ideal for a romantic atmosphere.
A large number of fragrant sets are sold, including for each sign of the zodiac, according to the elements and other characteristics. Therefore, a large basis for experimentation opens up. As a rule, I pour a small amount of water into the lamp and 2-3 drops of essential oil. The effect is very pleasant.
